Challenge: High-intent leads routinely land in CRMs raw — duplicated, unverified, non-compliant, and unscored. Sales teams waste time chasing bad numbers, absorb TCPA/DNC liability they can't see, and let hot leads go cold. The cost is invisible until it compounds: lower contact rates, wasted rep hours, and missed revenue on volume already paid for.

Opportunity: Build a pre-CRM lead-readiness layer — a self-serve SaaS platform that processes every inbound lead before it reaches the CRM. Research and competitive benchmarks pointed to the size of the prize: contact-rate lift on verified, enriched data, meaningful reduction in rep time lost to bad records, and more qualified conversations from the same lead volume. Position not as a CRM competitor but as the readiness step CRMs and their native AI agents structurally can't own.

Product Strategy: The thesis came from 15+ years in lead products (original PM on LowerMyBills' $55M lead platform), reinforced by discovery conversations and a design client's direct needs. Compliance screening became the wedge — it converts abstract liability into a quantifiable dollar figure per violation — with enrichment and scoring as expansion value. The core architectural bet was a 10-step pipeline (normalize, dedupe, enrich, validate, compliance-screen, contact options, AI score and rank, route, alert, deliver) exposed through four ingestion methods to meet operators wherever their leads originate. Built and shipped solo, without a team.

Results: Delivered a live, self-serve, billing-enabled SaaS platform — the full 10-step pipeline in production, four ingestion paths operational, and end-to-end lead processing from raw intake to routed, revenue-ready delivery. Built from founding thesis to shipped product as a solo founder.
